ERP Integration Goes to the Next Power

The seamless integration of Baan and VSI-FAX allows you to communicate with customers and suppliers as easily as you send email. Customer and supplier lists stored in the Baan system become addresses for faxing to individuals or groups. International faxing prefix requirements can be pre-established for automatic application. When a report to be faxed has been completed, the user simply selects recipients from a list of addresses and sends it — right from the screen on which the Baan report is displayed.

Easy to Use

There’s no need to learn new interfaces. S2 Faxing for Baan, Powered by VSI-Fax has both GUI and character interfaces. The standard Baan GUI toolbar shows "Printer Selection Options" one of which is "Fax." A simple click on the "Fax" option initiates the fax, and a confirming message shows that the fax has been sent. Streamlined features also allow resending and cancellation of faxes, changing of customer and supplier destinations "on the fly," direct visual access to the status of a fax from inside Baan, and viewing of a complete list of sent faxes.

S2 Faxing for Baan, Powered by VSI-Fax is remarkably easy to install, requiring only the Baan Bridge (or driver) to operate. It is fully portable across all Baan platforms and works equally well in host-mode and client/server environments.
